Venue- Histology Lab, Department of Anatomy, Ground Floor, College Building
Prizes- Cash prizes for the top 2 with certificates.
Entry fees- Rs. 150 per person.
Rules:-
·It is a rapid tournament with knock out format.
·Format: 10 min+ 5 sec increment on each move.
·Each player has to play one match with white one with black in one round.
In case of draw Armageddon is played to decide to the winner.
·All the standard fide rules will be applied.
·No need to write moves on the paper.
·Touch and move rule will be applied. Violation will result in decrement in time by 2 minutes.
·Each player will be warned for maximum of 2 illegal moves after which there is decrement in time in time by 2 minutes for each illegal move thereafter.
·You can touch the timer with any hand.
NOTE- Top 4 players will be selected for the finals.
FINALS-
·There would be 3 rounds in the final.
·In case of same points the same point players will have to compete with each other to decide a winner.
·Format-20 min+ 10 sec increment
·Each round consist of two matches in which each player will be playing one round with white one with black.
·You have to touch the timer by the same hand and no need to write moves on paper.
·The punishment for violating touch and move rule,for making more than 2 illegal moves will be a decrease in time by 5 minutes.
