THE badminton tournament

• Venue- East Delhi Sports Complex (EDSC)

• Date- 30th April – 2nd May

• Time- 10 AM Onwards

• Registration fee-

1. Men’s singles - ₹150
   
2. Men’s doubles - ₹250
   
3. Women’s singles - ₹150
   
4. Women’s doubles - ₹200
   
5. Mixed doubles - ₹250
   

• Prizes worth ₹2000!!

Rules -

1. The tournament will be played on a knockout basis i.e. each match will be eliminatory.
   
2. Players are expected to report at least 30 minutes before the scheduled time.
   
3. All players must carry their ID card on match days.
   
4. Non marking shoes are mandatory. All matches will be played on synthetic courts.
   
5. Shuttles will be provided by the organizers - YONEX MAVIS 350.
   
6. No requests for racquets or shoes to the organizers will be entertained. Players are requested to carry their own racquets and non-marking shoes.
   
7. Before the match commences, a toss shall be conducted and the side winning the toss shall exercise the choice in either serve or court.
   
8. Trying to influence referee/lineman’s decision in any way or using abusive language/gesture/violence will result in serious consequences.
   

IMPORTANT POINTS:

1. The decision of event heads and referees will be final in any case of discrepancies.
   
2. The number of sets and set points are subject to change depending upon the number of participants. This will be communicated to the player prior to the match.
   
3. Number of entries may be limited (on first come first serve basis).
   
4. Insufficient registration may lead to cancellation of events.
   
5. Loss of any personal belongings will not be the management’s responsibility.
   
6. Those who fail to report at the allotted time will be disqualified and no refund will be initiated.
   
7. On spot registrations are not allowed.
